Beef Hamburger Patties
INGREDIENTS
- 500g lean beef mince
- 3 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 small carrot, peeled & grated
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup BBQ Sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 50g salad leaves
- 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 4 bread rolls, split & toasted
- BBQ Sauce, to serve
METHOD
- Combine mince, onion, garlic, carrot, egg yolk and sauce in a large bowl.
- Shape mixture into four 2cm-thick patties. Place on a plate. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add patties. Cooke for 4-5 minutes each side or until cooked through.
- Place salad leaves, tomato and cucumber on roll bases. Top with patties, sauce and roll tops. Serve.
